We received a call from Dr. Dan Kletzing’s office today to let us know that I am scheduled for thyroid surgery on the 13th of February at 7:30am. My thyroid will be removed and lymph nodes will be checked at the same time. They told me to expect a 2 day hospital stay. This is the surgery that will take more recuperation time after getting home and is a delicate surgery due to all the nerves and the vocal chords.
I am dreading this surgery but on the other hand it will be good to have it behind me so I can be in touch with and start treatment through an oncologist.
~My prayer request is that surgery will be successful with no damage to the nerves and vocal chords.
~Also, no cancer would be found in the lymph nodes.
Praise the Lord that He is continually leading every step through the process!
