A few days ago Curt and I were finishing a walk and stopped to speak to a neighbor who did not know what had been going on with my health. After talking about cancer I said something like “No one wants to hear that they have the big C.” Her response was so beautiful and encouraging. She said, “No, cancer is not the big C, CHRIST is the BIG C.” Wow. I loved hearing that and just let it wash over me cleansing my heart and mind with its truth.
The Lord just keeps on giving, expressing love and encouragement to my heart sometimes when I least expect it. He is so faithful to us all. How beautiful it is when God uses someone to speak the right words at the right time to encourage his people.
Your challenge may not be cancer. Whatever it is, Christ is bigger than your circumstance or challenge and because He is we have HOPE.
Psalm 78:35
And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.
